"I'm proud to be a railway modeler. It means more to me to be on the cover of Model Railroader than to be on the cover of a music magazine" Rod Stewart

About

A little history behind our club and it's goals
Everything you see is made, with care and attention to mimic the real thing

Tauranga model railway club was born out of the need of a few local modelers to collaborate, share and promote the art of modelling in miniature.

The club consists of some 30 members of maturing age, and models various scales and gauges in New Zealand, English and American themes .

We meet regularly on a Thursday evening between 7pm and 10pm and discuss various topics and ideas as well as simply enjoying the activity of running some of our long loved and most treasured possessions.
